Core Activities:
- Improve civil society for proper policy engagement, formulation and influence including budget formulation, monitoring and expenditure tracking
- Raise awareness on how government policies impact on the standard of living for the populace
- To support national efforts for economic development and efficiency through good workmanship and maximum productivity
- To secure ratification and observance of all relevant conventions and international standards affecting people of their organisation
- To develop positive relationships with all local, regional, and international organisations
Activities in Lesotho:
- Support other NGOs with skills and knowledge sharing, e.g. proposal writing.
- Advocate for socio-economic rights of the populate
- Hold workshops on national budget discussions, public debt and other related issues.
Future Plans:
- Host Lesotho social forum
- The EJNL is also planning to have an economic forum here in Lesotho
- The EJNL is seeking to expand its offices outside Maseru operating directly in other districts of Lesotho
