The Ministry works towards the advancement of gender equity and equality, enhancement of sports for mental and physical fitness and integration of youth in the socio-economic and political development of the country. There is a strong focus on increasing the number of children enrolling in schools. Department offers distribution of equipment, clothes, medicine and training to OVCs including herd boys.

About Letsema

HIV and AIDS have had a heavy toll on the children and young people of Lesotho.

Letsema is a Sentebale progamme whose mission is to transform the lives of Lesotho’s orphans and vulnerable children by working as a coordinated network of organisations.

Letsema Members work together to provide a variety of services, ranging from education, residential care, HIV and AIDS treatment and prevention, and others . We want to give hope to these young people and bring joy back into their lives.
