Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Core Activities:

Bringing people to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with power and authority to administer all the saving ordinances. The church has the same organization that the new testament church had, including apostles and prophets.

Activities in Lesotho:

  • We conduct normal religious services of Sunday. Our members travel to Johannesburg to attend the temple as often as possible.
  • The total church in Africa conduct a service project each year, in 2009, under Mormon helping hands.
  • The church also performs humanitarian projects in Africa in the following areas: Neonatal training, Wheelchair donations, Measles Vaccinations, Vision,
  • Water wells, Employment, Disaster relief

Future Plans:

  • Continue to help people in Lesotho in all areas. The Mormon helping hands in 2010 will be important.
  • Investigate needs for clean wter projects,neonatal resuscitation training.
