Core Activities:
Bureau collects, processes, analyzes and disseminates information.
It is the agency responsibility for all matters relating to official statistics.
Activities in Lesotho:
- Financial assistance to members or worker of the department in case of crisis.eg funeral or sickness.
- Financial support and counseling for children of former workers and currently working people.
Future Plans:
To establish a conducive support group within the department of statistics in order to help workers with HIV, their family members especially children with counseling and any other crucial situations.
Needs of Organisation:
Lessons of how the department can help people living with HIV and AIDS and OVC. Help link Human Resources with its support group.
Training on how to take care of OVC of people who had previously worked in the department
No current projects at hand.
To have a link between workers at the department (Bureau of Statistics) and HR to facilitate a healthy living standard for them and their family members.
