Core Activities:

    To support the setting up and running of care units for street children in Lesotho.

    To assist and provide benefits for orphans and abandoned children in Lesotho.

    Purposes:

  • Prevention or relief of poverty
  • Advancement of education
  • Advancement of religion
  • Advancement of health
  • Saving of lives
  • Relief of those in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage

Activities in Lesotho:

Feeding: provision of fruit, bread, cheese and meat to 15-20 street boys.

Education: providing uniforms for 5 OVC.

Economic Strengthening: visiting homes where poverty is indicated as a reason for a boy living on the street and supporting families through accessing health care, starting micro-enterprise, enabling self-sufficiency through food growing, etc.

Residential Provision: for boys under 15 who cannot go home for circumstances such as abuse or having no family.

Vocational Training: for boys in residential provision and education.

Future Plans:

All of the current activities for boys over 15.
