WFP does not distribute food directly; it works through co-ordinating partners such as World Vision; CRS; OMEGA; Red Cross and PAVA (Patriotic Vision in Action).

Work in all areas with focus in the south.

To compliment the Government's efforts to provide free primary education and support vulnerable households & OVC with food assistance.

The main activities are:

6.Tuberculosis

• To continue to capacitate the Government to support vulnerable populations, to ultimately do the work of the WFP.
• The next large scale project plan will be finalised by July 2008.
