Core Activities:
Skillshare International works to reduce poverty, injustice and inequality and to further economic and social development in partnership with people and communities throughout the world. We do this by sharing and developing skills and ideas, facilitating organizational and social change and building awareness of development issues.

Main activities include:

Health: Current focus is on HIV/AIDS in response to the country plan and need. Skillshare works through community support groups to provide empowerment, income-generation, counselling and testing, and care for orphans, elderly, sick, and other needy communities. They work with partner organizations and through community support groups to reach those in need. Skillshare currently works with 11 community support groups in Maseru and Mafeteng through two development workers.

Economic Empowerment: This component includes income-generation projects such as tailoring, gardening, bee-keeping, candle-making, beadwork, and small livestock care, among others. Skillshare currently does this work through community support groups and technical and vocational schools in Maseru, Berea, and Mafeteng.
Education: Skillshare has supported technical and vocational schools in Mohales Hoek. They also provide technical assistance and support to the Ministry of Education, through development workers, to improve education at the national policy level, specifically focusing education and unemployment problems.

Environment: Skillshare works with the agriculture and natural resource commission at the Lesotho Council of NGOs to improve Lesotho's environment.
