Core Activities:
Promotes development and the social well-being of Basotho children with special emphasis on OVCs. They improve access, efficiency and affectiveness in the services delivered. A fund for needy children is managed. Community Home Based Care (CHBC) is promoted, training Community Support Groups on CHBC, Psychosocial Support and and issues relating to OVCs.
Activities in Lesotho :
1.Training of Community Based Workers / support groups on the care of OVC and the infected members of the community.
2. Health: follow up with HIV positive OVC, and immediate families offering psycho-social support.
3.Psycho-social support camps: held twice a year in January and June, with 50 OVC at each camp. Facilitators are drawn from various organisations eg - LPPA, CGPU, Social Welfare and LCCU. These activities include income generation projects such as bead making and gardening.
4.Education: funding double and vulnerable children orphans with school uniforms & food packages. So far 927 in Leribe and Berea combined with the support of the Lesotho Flour Mills.
5.Accommodation: improving and building OVC houses.
6.Clothing: assisted by Aid to Africa, UK. The Office distributes the clothes through MP's in their constituencies and also through schools.
7.Training in simple business structure by the office of the Mine Workers.

- To develop more social welfare provision for HIV positive OVC, to ensure that they can continue with ART.
