The Bible Society of Lesotho works in the production, translation, marketing and distribution of scriptures in print and non-print media. Bibles are produced in various formats to meet the needs of all (e.g. in Braille or on cassette). The Society is also involved in advocacy and prevention of terminal diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Portions of the Bible are distributed to change lives and behaviors with the aim of preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and improving the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS.

• Raise money to donate free Bibles to the poor and orphans
• Focus on shepherds and orphans, providing relevant Bible portions to them in print and cassette format.
• Compile HIV/AIDS materials to make booklets that they give to the orphans at schools and in prisons. Those booklets cover approximately 50 Orphan students in different schools.
