WHO also implements trainings on the health guidelines and practices to healthcare providers and partners at least once or twice per year. These trainings are facilitated with the Ministry of Health and other health partners in-country.

In 2007 alone, WHO contributed to the development of the following health policies:
  • Reproductive Health
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Infant feeding
  • OVC

  • Strengthen health systems
  • Improve advocacy for health

In addition, WHO will work towards meeting the Millenium Development Goals, reducing child and maternal mortality and morbidity and reducing the incidence of HIV/AIDS, particularly in Lesotho.
