Touch Roots Africa works to capacitate organizations working with children in Lesotho. This is done through direct interventions in Maseru, Leribe, Butha Buthe and Mafeteng and in conjunction with partners in Mohale's Hoek and Thaba-Tseka.
Touch Roots Africa helps to develop skills in others through training and mentoring community service organizations in the following areas:
They develop childrens skills on psychosocial support and child protection in order to build their resilience and so that they can provide peer support to each other.
Touch Roots Africa also coordinates community based organizations activities and provides technical support to them. They also promote partnerships between community based organizations and stakeholders (such as government, development agencies, and private sector entities) through linking and referrals.
Touch Roots Africa helps to develop skills in others through training and mentoring community service organizations in the following areas:

- Child Protection and Participation
- Advocacy
- Monitoring and Evaluation

Future Plans:
- Continue to strengthen and build the capacity of organisations working with children in the project areas where TRA works.
- Expand TRAs work to one more area in Mafeteng.
- Ensure increased participation of children in issues affecting them, within the project areas where TRA works
- Continue providing mentoring to the trained CBOs.
