To use films as an HIV and AIDS intervention tools with the expectation of more people:
  • talking openly about HIV and AIDS related issues
  • creating acceptance of people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS
  • provoking people to demand information about HIV and AIDS
  • more people making informed decisions about HIV and AIDS related issues
Activities in Lesotho :
  • Play HIV and AIDS films in schools, churches, communities, support groups, and prisons country wide using a mobile video unit
  • Have discussions about decision making skills
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Sensitization of youth in HIV/AIDS issues
Future Plans:
  • To sustain the organisation

  • Sesotho Media and Development would like to produce documentaries about children expressing their own issues, interests and concerns
