- Help people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS lessen the impact by making home visits for prayer sessions and food packages and establishment of income generating activities.
- Assist people with ARV access in their proximity.
- Care for orphans left behind by people who pass away.
- Provide testing counseling for HIV and AIDS patients at PHCL Clinic.
Activities in Lesotho :
We sponsor a clinic that caters for a population close to 30,000 people in Lithoteng.
- A home based care team that cares for 100 to 200 HIV and AIDS patients
- Assistance of 50 orphans with self-help projects to improve diet and some income for daily expenses
- Planting 100 fruit trees at homes of people living with HIV and AIDS
- Educating 200 OVC in primary and high school
- Helping 200 OVC with food, clothes and school fees
- Providing 50 families with blankets and garden tools.
Future Plans:
- To build a piggery in Mapeseleng for income generation to help HIV and AIDS patients as well as OVC
- To renovate schools to admit children with disabilities
- To purchase bedding for clinic for patients who need bed rest
- To train home-based care team to receive training from clinic doctor for improved service delivery
