  • Protect and fight for the Human Rights of Deaf people in all walks of life - national, regional or international
  • To raise awareness of sign language and conducting sign language classes.
  • Enable deaf people around the country to communicate effectively with other people around the world
  • Training people about sign language in order to enable a conducive environment for deaf people
Activities in Lesotho :
Education people in general about sign language and HIV and AIDS. This includes children and elders who are deaf.
Future Plans:
To have a professional sign language dictionary
Instill sign language practice in deaf people whether children or elders

  • Funding for projects: funding for volunteers, additional staff, developing a sign language skill for clientele


Training Needed:
specific operations, computer literacy, sign language training for staff, training of sign language interpreters, to develop a strategic development plan, training on how to counsel parents to care for deaf children
