• To facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, experiences and resources in HIV and AIDS related work among NGOs, CBOs, National AIDS Programmes and any other agency
• To promote cooperation and collaboration in HIV/AIDS related activities among members.
• To promote coherent and supportive non-discriminatory policies on medical, social, economic, political, legal, ethical, and religious matters affecting people with HIV/AIDS and their families.
• To articulate to the rest of the world the needs and achievements of the country with respect to HIV/AIDS
