- To provide a healthy atmosphere for children
- To offer preschool activities
- To provide insights into food production and food preservation for families of children as well as income generation activities
- To respond and cater for various needs of children in the village.
Activities in Lesotho :
- Offering preschool education to children in the village, paying special attention to those without parents, neglected, those living with grandparents or disabled parents.
- Enable the children to participate and engage in the psychosocial support activities that would otherwise be inaccessible to them
- Training/workshops in vegetable production and food preservation
- Facility for children to do homework with occasional assistance
- Assistance of families of destitute, OVC with clothing, grain (maize, beans)
- Occasional assistance with school fees for children and youth
- Invitation to speakers on necessary, useful issues in the village, e.g. self-motivation, drug abuse, disability, etc.
Future Plans:
- Production of a calendar with children's messages
- Production of newsletter
- Strengthening the income generation activities
- Exposing and enhancing children's talents.
- Assisting children to handle grief and other social problems
- To set up a village children's library

- To train and encourage the community to fully support and carry out caring and nurturing of children
- Financial record keeping for IGAs
- Compilation on our teaching methods and materials for sharing with other organisations and interested people in Sesotho
