  • Assist the Ministry of Health in achieving universal access to HIV prevention, care and treatment by facilitating 100% health facility coverage of PMTCT, care and treatment services·
  • Advance in leadership role in public policy and advocate for measures to eradicate pediatric HIV and AIDS in Lesotho·
  • To develop program documentation and operational research that support evidence-based approaches to program implementation·
  • To build collaborations and partnerships to strengthen effective integration between HIV and AIDS services and other health services and the community
Activities in Lesotho :
  • Capacity building of health workers, PLWHA and community health workers through trainings, mentorship and ongoing supervision.
  • Provide technical assistance in strengthening the district approach as a decentralized approach·
  • Consolidate data collection, reporting systems and regular reviews to improve overall quality of service at national, district and site levels·
  • Integrating PMTCT into existing MCH services as a platform for successful PMTCT and pediatric services
