Core Activities:
To train and equip OVC with vocational skills regarding use of bicycles.
To translate these skills into entrepreneur business ventures for OVC.
Activities in Lesotho :
  • We are providing basic needs to OVC, People with Disabilities and out of school youth.
  • We also help Child Heads of Household to send their younger siblings back to school. Our beneficiaries are aged from 15 to 21 years.
  • We have vocational workshops where we train OVC, PWD and CHH: how to use and maintain bikes. In collaboration with Ministry of Gender, youth, sport and recreation, we equip them with business skills.
  • With assistance from Baylor, we train them on issues of First Aid, Health and Hygiene.
  • We also sensitize them on property rights of OVC. We conduct legal clinics for them.
  • We are working hard to reduce carbon footprint.
  • We are engaged in Income generation projects, maintenance and fleet management. 10 people are so far trained.
Future Plans:
  • We want to have career placements with vocational expects.
  • Career Services.
  • We are planning to hold events such as BMX Tracks, Awareness Campaign and Fundraising.
  • We are planning to train OVC in Lodge areas to guide tourists outreach.
  • Tourism: Bike-guided Tours.
  • By 2010, we want to help 80 people in Maseru, 20 at Semonkong, 20 in Mafeteng and 10-15 PWD.
Needs of Organisation:
Strategic Partnerships to build and develop skills of OVC.

Volunteers to help with:
vocational training at workshops, Safety campaign, event planning and execution

Training on bookkeeping, welding, artisan, skill maintenance crew, monitoring and evaluation consultancy, marketing strategy
