September, Maseru: The Bible Society of Lesotho launched HIV/AIDS materials at a function at their office. These included cassettes, videos, DVDs and books.

The society is hoping that the materials will strengthen existing strategies in the fight against the pandemic by empowering support organisations to use a biblical approach to fighting the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

The Society are inviting all organisations involved in HIV/AIDS support programmes to learn how to use the materials, and they are going to make follow-up calls to establish whether materials are fairly distributed and to assess their impact on the public.
