Women’s Ambitions for a Better Future
A new project called “Women’s Ambitions for a Better Future” has been launched for vulnerable young women helping teenage mothers and orphaned and vulnerable girls living on the streets.

The first container of bikes is in Lesotho.
This is a new partner first shipped to in Winter 2008, to a project called “Beyond Bikes”, based in the capital, Maseru. Harper Brown helped to set it up and it is being run by Seamus McCarthy. The focus is on OVCs and training, and they’re looking to get the next container of bikes early 2010.

On the morning of 6 April, 2010 we said a sad farewell to Matseliso.
She had been sick for many years and somehow these last three months seemed to have made a remarkable recovery. Unfortunately, Tseli, landed up with Pneumonia and was admitted to hospital in Zastron, where all the nursing staff were really fantastic to all of us.

Mants’ase Children’s Home Newsletter February 2010
We are saying goodbye again this month as Mpolokeng, Popi, and Mamello return to their mother, who has found a home and a job to help support them. But some of our children left us, other children joined our family at Mant- sase.
Mathabang, 16, and Bobo, 6, arrived in December, in time to participate in our Christmas pageant (Mathabang is a great dancer!). Khauta joined us in Janu- ary, in time to start a brand new school year in Standard 6. And just at the beginning of February Thandiwe, 3, and Oratile, 2, joined us at the Home. Thandiwe and Oratile are our newest preschool scholars. Welcome to all of them, and all the best in 2010!
